Program Overview:

Stepping into a people leadership role can be challenging for anyone – but for women especially, there can be an added layer of complexity to navigate. The challenges inherent in the role are combined with additional challenges for women wanting to make progress in their role and their career.

This program explores fundamental leadership skills and behaviours with a focus on women’s perspectives. It introduces ways to lean in with confidence and competence, so your positive brand is noticed and your abilities grow alongside your career. The program uses the highly regarded DISC profile for insights into workplace and leadership behaviours. Participants will receive a personalised report with full debrief conducted during the program.

  • This course is suitable for female people leaders – existing, new, or emerging – working anywhere across the full range of organisations and industries. And also those thinking their next move might be into a leadership role

  • The skills and behaviours learned are fundamental requirements for success in any leadership role whatever the organisational cultural dynamics. The skills learned are not job-specific, but assist with building your personal presence and relationships in any role, to encourage collaboration and achieve outcomes in your work and your career.

Emotional Intelligence

  • Self-awareness and self-regulation

  • Paradigms and unconscious biases

  • Building trust

Module 3:

 

Workplace behavioural Styles

  • Individual behavioural styles

  • Self-awareness of strengths and challenges

  • Stronger business relationships

  • Interacting across styles

  • Building rapport

Module 4:

 

Challenging Situations

  • Dealing with change and challenge

  • Building strategic networks

  • Reflection and action planning

  • Develop strategies for ongoing learning and practice of skills

Program Inclusions:

  • Training from an experienced Women in Leadership facilitator

  • Interactive learner guide

  • Pre and post online learning modules.

Duration:

  • 2x full days

  • The program can also be delivered as 4x half days.

Program Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites for this program. Participants are advised to bring relevant workplace examples and challenges that they can focus on throughout the program.

More than just a workshop – a programmatic approach of three events, including self-paced pre-workshop preparation pack and individualised action plan for ongoing improvement and developing the new behaviours.

All learning and development activities are able to be customised for your organisation’s context: policies and procedures, suitable case studies, scenarios, examples, forms, templates, visuals and terminology.
